For Chef Virendra, food has always been more than a profession—it’s a way of bringing people together and creating lasting memories.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Chef Virendra discovered his passion for cooking at an early age. After graduating from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition (IHM), he began his culinary journey with a clear ambition—to learn from the very best and build a career founded on excellence.
After completing his industrial training at the renowned Sun-n-Sand Hotel, Juhu, Chef Virendra spent six formative years working alongside celebrated chef Moshe Shek. During this time, he developed a deep appreciation for precision, discipline, creativity, and innovation while gaining invaluable experience in fine dining, international cuisine, and luxury hospitality. Those years played a defining role in shaping his culinary philosophy and continue to influence the way he approaches every menu and every event today.
In 2008, Chef Virendra co-founded a partnership catering firm that delivered fine dining experiences at some of Mumbai’s most prestigious clubs and institutions, including Golf View at Willingdon Sports Club, The Pavilion at Bombay Gymkhana, Mini Turf Club, Radio Club, Parsi Gymkhana, Wodehouse Gymkhana, and many others. Working with these iconic venues gave him extensive experience in luxury catering, large-scale event execution, and the exceptional standards of hospitality expected by discerning clients.
Building on this strong foundation, Chef Virendra founded Good Food Concept (GFC) in 2014 with a vision of bringing restaurant-quality cuisine and exceptional hospitality to private celebrations, corporate events, luxury weddings, and exclusive gatherings. What started as a small team driven by passion and dedication has grown into one of Mumbai’s most trusted premium catering companies.
Today, Good Food Concept proudly delivers over 2,000 events annually with a dedicated team of more than 120+ hospitality professionals, creating exceptional culinary experiences across Mumbai and beyond.
Chef Virendra’s culinary style combines timeless techniques with contemporary innovation. From authentic Indian cuisine to Pan Asian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Continental, and modern fusion menus, he believes every event deserves a thoughtfully curated dining experience that reflects the client’s personality and the occasion.
